The reason for calculus

I go over the things a student should be careful before taking a calculus class

Calculus can be a very tough subject, even for the most intelligent people. For those of us who are not math geniuses, calculus homework can be a nightmare. For high school and college students, calculus may be one of the toughest classes they will ever take. But there is help available for calculus homework. There are numerous methods available to receive help with calculus, whether you prefer using the Internet or you want to get tutoring in person.

Calculus is a very advanced math that studies the ways that things can change. Calculus provides the framework for the modeling of systems in which there is change, and it also provides a way to deduce the predictions based on such models. Calculus is the advanced math that is required to solve complex mathematical equations. Calculus homework can be very thought intensive and confusing. It is not unusual for students of calculus to need assistance with their calculus homework.

Assistance with calculus homework can be found in a variety of ways. The first step for a student who needs help in calculus would be to speak with their academic advisor, so that they are aware of what help is offered through the school. Most high schools and colleges have tutors in a variety of subjects for free or a nominal fee. There are also private tutors available to help with calculus homework concepts. These, however can get quite expensive if long term tutoring in calculus is required.

Calculus started with the ancient Greeks thousands of years ago. Calculus homework today still utilizes some of these same basic ideas. The Greeks thought of numbers as ratios of integers. Because of this fact, the Greek number line had some holes in it. One of the most important Greek contributions was made by Archimedes in approximately 225 B.C., and had to do with the area of a segment of parabola.  In the early sixteenth century, mathematicians began to look at problems like those concerning the center of gravity. Calculus homework today still uses some of these same principles.

Calculus is not normally taken until late in high school or in college, so a student who needs help with calculus homework should be mature enough to recognize this need and seek help as soon as possible. Calculus is not something that can be learned quickly.  It starts out with basic concepts and builds on them. Once a student starts to fall behind, waiting too long may result in being too far behind to catch up in time. Calculus homework is intended to keep a student proficient in the field, and this enables the student to grasp the concepts quicker.

When a student is new to calculus, the problems can be very complex and confusion is common. Calculus homework can help the student to fully grasp the basics and build exponentially on these basics. Reinforcing the concepts, formulas, and theories over and over until they are ingrained is the idea behind most calculus homework.

Stu Unger, professional poker, World Series of Poker, legendary poker player, gin games, gin tournaments, gin rummy player, blackjack tables, casinos. ga,bling, entertainment, sports and recreation

You can read here about the life story of the poker legend and three times WSOP champion Stu Unger.

Stu Unger is one of the biggest superstars to have immerged from the professional poker world. Besides being a true poker genius and a three time World Series of Poker champion, Stu Unger had a fascinating life story. It was not surprising that after his death Stu was the subject of a biography and a biopic.

Stu Unger lived the life of a rock star including the quick rise to fame, the drugs, the comeback and the unavoidable death at an early age. Here you can read about the life story of the legendary poker player Stu Unger.

The Beginning

Stuart Errol Ungar was born in 1953 to a Jewish family who lived in Manhattan on the Lower East Side. Stus father was a well known bookmaker and his mother was too ill to fight against her sons fascination with gambling. After the death of his father, 13 years old Stu had found a father figure at his neighbor Victor Romano, one of the infamous Genovese family soldiers.

Stu and Romano had at least one thing in common: they both had an incredibly sharp memory, which was mainly used in poker and gin games. By that time, Stu was already an accomplished gin player who had gained vast experience in winning gin tournaments. Stu dropped out of school to become a full time gin rummy player. The Genovese family had benefited from Stus talent. In return, they provided him protection from other gamblers who found themselves offended by his harsh and arrogant playing style.

The Rise

As a professional gin player, Stu had managed to beat all the professional gin poker players around. According to the rumors, Stu caused Harry Yonkie Stein, one of the best players around to stop playing gin completely after beating him in a gin match. Since he was out of proper competition, Stu decided to focus on playing poker professionally. In 1976, he and his girlfriend relocated to Las Vegas where they got married and had a girl, Stephanie.

In 1980, Stu won the World Series of Poker Main Event after beating experienced poker pros such as Doyle Bronson. Stu was the youngest WSOP champion in history and was nicknamed The Kid. Even though Stu won the 1981 WSOP Main Event, he still considered himself more a gin and rummy player than a poker player. After winning his first WSOP championship title, he was quoted saying that the poker world would meet better no limit players than him, but no one will ever be able to play gin rummy better than he does.

At the same time, Stu had tried to use his skill to grab money at the blackjack table. Nevertheless, the casinos were not happy with Stus presence around the blackjack tables and he was constantly barred. In 1982, he was fined by the New Jersey Gaming Commission for cheating, although Stu has not done anything illegal but using his natural skill and phenomenal memory.

The Fall

In 1990, Stu made another appearance to the WSOP. This time, he was heavily into drugs. He was a chip leader for the first three days of the event and then disappeared. He was found lying at his hotel room, unconscious from a drug overdose. However, it did not stop him from finishing ninth and earning enough money for his future cocaine supply.

The Comeback

After seven years of disappearing from the professional poker circle, Stu had returned to the WSOP. In 1997, he was broke, with damaged nostrils from cocaine abuse, addicted to horseracing and sports gambling, but still in shape to beat all the new contestants and gain back his WSOP Championship title. The local media was happy to embrace The Comeback Kid, but his success did not last long.

The Death

Stu Unger did not attend the 1998 World Series of Poker since he could not get the money to pay the entry fee. Seven months after Scotty Nguyen won the 1998 WSOP, Stu Ungar was found dead at his motel room in Las Vegas with 800 dollars in his pocket. Apparently, he died of a heart condition caused by years of drug abuse.

New Pilot Program To Nab Sex Offenders Being Tested In Phoenix Schools

We are a nation focused on eradicating sex offenders from the lives of our children. They are in and near our schools, at the local parks, living next door, and even in some of our churches.

The Phoenix schools, as well as their teachers, administrators and parents, want to protect their children from sexual attacks and abductions. Together with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s office, the Phoenix schools have devised a pilot project to apprehend sex offenders and alleged abductors before they can do harm.

The plan of the Phoenix schools is simple. Two cameras are now located outside the school office of the Royal Palm Middle School, scanning the faces of people who enter. Each camera uses face-scanning technology, designed to compare the scanned faces with the state and national databases of registered sex offenders, missing children, and alleged abductors. If a match is found, a police officer is dispatched to the Phoenix school.

Law enforcement and the Phoenix schools are hopeful that the project succeeds, knowing that anything that protects the children is worth any cost and inconvenience.

Civil libertarians, however, are concerned with privacy more than protecting the children from attack or abduction. They are vocally opposing the Phoenix schools project, citing the potential issues of privacy violations.

Others say the technology is unproven and not reliable. According to Chengjun Liu, professor and researcher of facial recognition technology at New Jersey Institute of Technology, the technology is very promising but currently is not foolproof. Many variables, such as lighting, shadows and facial expression, can affect its accuracy.

Ken Kaplan, engineering director at Hummingbird’s Phoenix location and who provided the equipment and software for the Phoenix schools pilot, disagrees. He is confident that facial scanning technology can be used to accurately compare scanned faces with mug shots and snapshots stored in the databases. He believes that false positives are rare situations.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, known for instituting chain gangs and issuing pink underwear to county inmates, believes that if it only catches one sex offender at the Phoenix school, then it is worth it. Protecting children from attack and abduction – or worse – takes priority.

If the pilot project is successful, both law enforcement and Phoenix schools educators hope to expand it. The Phoenix schools want the technology in all of their schools. According to Arizona Schools Superintendent Tom Horne, the Phoenix schools may very well get their wish. If the project succeeds, he plans to seek funding for cameras for all schools within the state.

Paralegal Schools

Paralegal Schools offer many options to help you get formally trained as a professional paralegal.

Typically a paralegal school will offer an Associate's Degree Program or a Certificate Program. Also you may find some paralegal schools that offer a Bachelor Degree or a Master Degree.

The Associate's Degree will take around 2 years of study, the Certificate will only need a few months, while the Bachelor's or Master's degrees will require 4 years.

As a whole the job

The Associate's Degree will take around 2 years of study, the Certificate will only need a few months, while the Bachelor's or Master's degrees will require 4 years.

As a whole the job market now require some shape of formal training and diploma. Gone are the days where only some typing skills and a clean pair of shoes assured you a job.

In order to qualify for a Paralegal Certificate you need an Associate or a Bachelor's degree, but some schools require only a high school diploma or a GED.

Also you may want to consider online paralegal schools. The online courses offer many advantages like schedule flexibility and reduced costs. Each course completed is credited towards the degree. A great advantage of online schools is that many will let you pay each course individually...

You may have already discovered that paralegal schools and online paralegal schools are very abundant to say the least. So I recommend that you take a special approach to select your own school and training. If you plan to study in a formal classroom versus an online paralegal school then obviously the physical location of the schools will help narrow the search, because you may prefer an institution that is close to your home. This step being taken I recommend that you analyze the current job market listings and that you note the training requirements for paralegal or legal assistants hiring. This will greatly help you select the amongst the school offerings and will almost guarantee you a strong position on your future job market.

Many job listings will ask for a Bachelor's Degree and/or a Certificate and specialized experience and many Junior Paralegal jobs will require training and some general experience.

Note that most paralegal schools will help you get the required base of experience thru internships or externships with various field experience and hands-on training. Also in the case of a career change, a good portion of your actual experience may apply to one of the many specializations of this field. In most cases only a couple years of related experience will be required.

So if you plan a career change or if you want to qualify for an interesting career you may find that Paralegal Schools are the fast track to a really decent salary (40K to over 100K is the norm) and some neat extras like bonuses and a fair amount of independence on the job.

Why wait for the winter flu to come around? Wouldn’t it be better if we could take some measures to avoid it in the first place? The best doctors prevent sickness by keeping your body balanced, this is their real job and as a result you stay healthy.

Why wait for the winter flu to come around? Wouldn’t it be better if we could take some measures to avoid it in the first place? Here are five simple ideas that can keep you flu-free through winter time. They are all very simple to follow. Actually, any one can take these steps towards a healthier winter. The best doctors prevent sickness by keeping your body balanced, this is their real job and as a result you stay healthy.

1. Sleep Well
At winter time our body invests energy in keeping us warm.  We need to let it use fresh new energy gained from good sleep.  People who lack sleep time will, eventually, be more likely to get sick as their body immunity system will not be functioning normally.

2. Drink hot tea
On wintertime we consume less liquids and it’s important to balance the level of our body liquids.  Avoid coffee for it is diuretic, and you end up loosing more liquids than gaining. Drink what ever type of warm tea or simply water with lemon and cinnamon. That will keep you warm and your energy flowing.

3. Heat and Cold
Catching flu can be some times a result of moving from hot places to cold ones and the opposite. You could be sitting next to your hot fireplace and then you out to the cold.  Your body is not ready for the cold and essential parts could absorb cold wind. Wait before you move from heated places to cold ones, get dressed real good and protect areas like your neck and scolders.

4. Eat but do not overfeed
We need to adjust our eating habits to the current season.  On winter time our inner process are slowed down.  As a result if you tend to eat too much you are over loading your body and the digesting system is unable to properly perform its task. This leads to a decrease in your energy level and a weak person might weaken his immunity system as well.

5. Stay Active
Staying active is extremely important to normal functioning of your body.  Have you wondered why children are always on the move?  They behave naturally with their body keeping it in none stopping movement.  Well, you do not have to move all the time but try a daily moderate activity such as walking for 30-40 minutes.  This will allow proper flow of energy in your body.

These are all very simple ideas I perform every winter and the results are amazing.  I don’t suffer more on wintertime than on summertime.  And the most important thing is having the time for the important things in life and not being sick all winter long.
